First I would just like to say Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a lovely holiday season. With 2016 behind us I thought it be interesting to write about the products that really stood out to me last year. Usually when I like new products I do a monthly favorites post but for this one I really wanted to look at all my beauty products and write about the ones that I reached for the most. Listed below are my favorite products of 2016.
Makeup
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara– This is by far my all time favorite mascara. It gives my lashes volume and length.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation – I love how light -weight this foundation feels on my face.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony- This is the first Anastasia Beverly Hills product that I ever tried. I like how it stays on my brows all day and also how pigmented it is.
Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20- I use this tinted moisturizer a lot during the summer mostly because it makes my skin look like I’m not wearing anything.
Skincare
Bioderma – Bioderma micelle solution for sensitive skin became my favorite makeup remover last year. After hearing so much about it on YouTube I finally purchased a few bottles and I was not disappointed.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser – I use this cleanser to remove my face makeup at night.
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser – If I don’t wear any makeup then I like to use this face cleanser. I also like to use this in the morning.
Schmidt’s natural deodorant in the scent lavender – I have been trying a lot of natural deodorants and this one was the one that stood out to me the most. I love the scent and I find that it works well for me.
Clarins Sunscreen – I used this sunscreen a lot during the summer and I really like how the scent isn’t overpowering.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate oil – This has been a favorite since 2015. I love how my face looks so soft and smooth the day after I use it.
