One of my absolute favorite things to shop for when it comes to makeup is lipsticks. I don’t know what it is about them but I always end up buying way more products than I actually need. As a result I have tried out a lot of lip products both high end and affordable drugstore ones. For this blog post I am only focusing on the 5 affordable drugstore lip products worth checking out. After all who doesn’t love a good affordable makeup product?

BUDGET FRIENDLY LIP PRODUCTS
NYX SOFT LIP MATTE LIP CREAM
I love these lip cream products from Nyx Cosmetics (ad). I was initially drawn to these because of the neutral and darker colors. They did not disappoint whatsoever. Not only are they affordable but these lip products are so pigmented. They also look and feel like high end products on the lips. They are super lightweight that at times I forget I even have it on. The color lasts for a long time, and I barely notice any transfer after eating. If you want a great lip product at an affordable price then these are worth checking out.
COLOURPOP LIPPIE STIX (MATTE)
These lipsticks are so good (ad)! I have some of the darker shades and the pigment on them are amazing. These matte ones last really long and once they dry on the lips they don’t transfer at all on me. The application process is really easy because of how the tube is formed. They are also lightweight and don’t have a strong scent to them.
FLOWER BEAUTY MIRACLE MATTE LIPSTICK
I debated on including this one on the list of the best drugstore lipsticks simply because every color that I have bought and tried has never really been matte on me. I would say these are more like a satin finish, and they definitely transferred on me. So with that in mind, I do really love the colors and feel of these lip products. The colors are really pigmented and they feel and look great on.
WINKY LUX FLOWER BALM STAIN
I totally bought into the packaging when it came to this product. If you have seen them at Target (ad) then you know how appealing they are. That being said, I really love this lip balm. It is hydrating and it adjust to a bright pink shade on me. This is a pH product so in theory they are supposed to adjust to your perfect shade; at least that’s how I understood it. On me this ends up looking like a brighter pink and if I layer it then it becomes brighter. Its very flattering and great for a natural no makeup “makeup” kind of day.
MILANI ROSE TRANSFORMING LIP BALM
Out of the two pH lip balms on this list this one is my absolute favorite. The reason I prefer this Milani one (ad) is because it adjust to a more subtle pink shade on me than the Winky Lux. It also feels like a more buttery soft formula. With these pH lip products you kind of have to try them out before you know which one you’re really going to like. I found this Milani lip balm to be very hydrating on the lips as well.
