The Best Things To Do In Barcelona, Spain
VISIT PARK GUELL
If you’re looking for a place with phenomenal architecture then Park Guell is definitely a park you don’t want to miss on your trip to Barcelona, Spain. The attention to detail and color at this park is incredible. If you are also looking for a place to take some gorgeous photographs then make sure you visit Park Guell.
LA SAGRADA FAMILIA
La Sagrada Familia is an epic place to visit for more amazing architecture. There is so much detail inside La Sagrada Familia as well as the outside. It’s one of those places you could probably stare at for hours.
There are a lot of photo opportunities inside La Sagrada Familia as well as outside. If you don’t have enough time on your trip to spend time inside the Sagrada Familia you can still see the beautiful architecture on the outside of the building from afar. There are also a lot of cafes and shops nearby to check out if you’re going to be in the area.
ATTEND A FLAMENCO SHOW
If you prefer going to shows rather than museums then consider going to a Flamenco show. The show I attended was at the historic Tablao Flamenco Cordobes in la Rambla Barcelona. The show was absolutely riveting.
GO ON A BUS TOUR AROUND BARCELONA
A great way to get to see a new city is to go on a tour. I personally went on a bus tour and that was a great way to see the architecture throughout the city.
GO OUT FOR TAPAS
Are you a total foodie? Consider going out for delicious Tapas. Trying out new food from the city or country you’re going to is a great way to explore and learn about a new place. There are so many Tapas restaurants in Barcelona so finding one won’t be a problem.
TAKE A COOKING PAELLA CLASS
If you want to do more than just try new food how about you try taking a Paella cooking class? Paella is a traditional Spanish dish. I am very lucky that our tour guide booked us a class that also had vegan options. If you’re plant-based just call around to see which places offer a vegan Paella cooking class. This was honestly one of the best memories I have from my time in Barcelona.
VISIT A MARKET
Another great way to experience a new city is to visit a local market. Mercado de La Boqueria is a great place to get local delicious food as well as small gifts. I personally loved it because they had so many vegan empanada options. The food was absolutely delicious.
