Dresses have quickly become my go-to items to wear this summer. With so many different styles out there it makes it super easy to find one for any occasion. With summer quickly coming to an end I wanted to compile a list of different styles that I think are essential for anyone who is looking for good dress to wear while the weather is still nice. So, whether you are looking for a dress to wear to a family get together, a fancy event or even for a cute Instagram post; I hope that you find this list helpful.
Wrap Dresses
Wrap Dresses are great for days when you want something casual but you can also make them work for more formal events. I think wrap dresses are great for picnics, a day out shopping, and going out to eat with friends.
Formal Dresses
Everyone should have a good formal dress; it’s an essential. Depending on the length and it can be worn to meetings, job interviews and events. I’m talking about a simple, non-glittery dress. I prefer a black dress with short or long sleeves so that I can wear it in the summer and during colder days as well. During the fall and winter a formal dress can be worn with a jacket, blazer, cardigan, coat and some tights.
Mini Dresses
Mini dresses are my favorite but are the least practical in my opinion. They’re so fun to wear and I always feel my best wearing a cute little mini dress. The downside is that if it’s windy out you’ll most likely be worrying about your dress flying up. My solution for this is opting for a more structured dress.
Maxi Dresses
I love a great neutral colored maxi dress. Maxi dresses can be dressed up or down. Personally, I like to wear mine in a more casual way. Maxi dresses are great for all events. They work great as a bathing suit cover up too.
Long Sleeve Dresses
Long sleeve dresses are great for days when you’re going to be out in the sun a lot. Again, I prefer a neutral colored one or something with a very subtle print. These dresses can also be worn throughout different seasons depending on the fabric.
