Lately I have been seeing a lot of ads on my instagram for gel nail strips. They all look super beautiful and they look like they are easy to apply. So when I saw that Target had some Dashing Diva Nail Strips I decided to buy some and try them out.

The Aesthetics
At first glance I thought the designs and artwork looked stunning and I was excited to try them out. At the Target I went to they had a few different designs. However, most of their designs were very glittery and with a lot of sparkle to them. I wish they would have had more variety when it came to their designs and colors. Gel nail strips with darker colors and alternative designs would have been nice to see for those like myself who prefer a darker aesthetic.
If you like neutrals and maybe a bold color every once in a while then these might really call your name.
How To Apply Gel Nail Strips
The application process was very easy. All you have to do is clean your nails with the cleaning wipe they provide and then apply the nail strips. The difficult part came to cutting the nail strip. The nail strips kept getting stuck on the scissors I used to cut them. That made it more time consuming than I would have liked.
How long do Dashing Diva Nail Strips last?
On my hands I found that the nail strips lasted 2-3 days without chipping. After that they started to chip and lift on the corners.
Nonetheless, as a pedicure the nail strips lasted around a week without chipping or starting to lift.
Final Thoughts
I think the Dashing Diva Nail Strips (ad) are a cute option if you want to wear them to an event but don’t really care if they last after that.
