ORGANIZATION IDEAS FOR YOUR NEXT CLOSET CLEAN OUT:
Closet Clean Out Checklist
- Downsize Wardrobe: Decide what clothes you want to keep and can actually see yourself wearing. One of the best ways to figure out how to clean out your closet is by figuring out what clothes you actually love wearing. If you haven’t worn something in over a year it might be time to get rid of it. If a clothing item doesn’t fit anymore then that is also something to consider selling or donating.
- Closet Aesthetic: Figure out your closet aesthetic. What do you want your closet layout to look like? Do you want a lot of storage bins? Or do you prefer some under the bed storage or over the door storage?
- Storage Options: Consider unique storage ideas. Depending on how big your closet in you might be able to fit in a small bookshelf where you can display your favorite handbags, shoes or other clothing items.
