Blazers have easily become my new obsession this past year. A longer blazer that goes past the hip with a basic top and your bottoms and shoes of choice instantly make an effortless chic outfit. The structure of a blazer gives the outfit that extra little something. However, a stiff blazer is not a comfortable choice for everyday casual wear. PUT ON YOUR FAVORITE FAUX LEATHER JACKET
You can not go wrong with a faux leather jacket. Over the years I have showed how to style outfits with leather jackets on YouTube and this blog; it is definitely a go-to that never disappoints. If you like edgier or alternative kind of outfits consider layering on a longer faux leather jacket for fall and winter, dark bottoms and chunky boots.
For spring and summer you can opt for a shorter leather like jacket or even suede jacket over a basic tee and jeans. It will give the appearance of putting a lot of thought and effort into an outfit when in reality you just threw on a jacket.

Throwing on a well structured jacket over any outfit instantly elevate the whole look. This outfit tip works for cozy looks as well. If you are in a sweatpants type of mood just throw on a cropped top or bodysuit and your jacket of choice and you have got yourself a really cute look. For shoes I always go for a chunky boot like Dr. Martens for an edgier look. For a not so edgy look go for chunky white sneakers.
