I personally love wearing denim skirts in the fall with tights and an oversized sweater but I know it’s not for everyone. Casual Ways to Wear a Jean Skirt
I am one of those people that prefers to wear skirts and dress over denim shorts in the summer; they’re just more comfortable in my opinion. One of my favorite ways to wear a jean skirt is with a t-shirt or cropped top. It doesn’t matter if it’s a plain tee or a cool band t-shirt, tuck it in and put on your favorite shoes and you will have an effortless cute outfit. It’s the perfect outfit you can wear any day of the week.
Another option would be to wear your favorite mesh top with your favorite denim skirt. Mesh tops are really trendy right now and they are super breathable so that’s always a plus in the summer. I love wearing mine with a short sleeve mesh cropped top and some ankle boots.
Dressy Ways to Style a Denim Skirt
One of my new favorite ways to wear a denim skirt is with a lightweight blazer. I absolutely love how it instantly makes a denim skirt look more dressy than it actually is.
You can wear a bodysuit under the blazer or a long sleeve top for a look that’s a little bit more different. To make the outfit perfect for a girls night or a date night add on your favorite pair of heels.
If a blazer isn’t your favorite thing to wear then consider a lightweight blouse to pair with your favorite denim skirt. Again, I would style it with some heels or some sandals.
