The weather is getting warmer and that means that the products that I am using are also changing. During the month of May I really loved (and still do) lightweight makeup as well as very simple clothing.
Makeup
I have been keeping my makeup very clean and simple. I don’t like wearing a lot of makeup anyway but I especially don’t like to layer it on when its hot outside. So for foundation I have been using the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation. This foundation quickly become a favorite of mine. It is super lightweight and it lasts on my face all day. It also has SPF 15 which I like. I personally think it’s even more lightweight than the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer which I used most of last summer.
For eyeshadow I have been using the Lorac Pro pallet. After watching Lily Pebbles’ video I knew I had to buy it. I really like that it lasts all day and is really pigmented. It has a good mixture of matte and shimmery shades. I think the colors are really wearable, and you can do a lot of different looks with this pallet.
For bronzer I have been using a sample size of the Too Faced Sun Bunny bronzer. I like that it’s long lasting and that it adds a beautiful glow.
Skincare
For my skincare routine I have kept it pretty much the same with the exception of my cleanser. I have been using the Fresh Soy Cleanser. I tried a sample of this during the holiday season, and I had been wanted to purchase it since then so I finally did In May. I am really glad that I did because it makes my skin look and feel better. That being said, I don’t like the scent at all.
Clothes & Accessories
As far as clothing, I have been wearing a lot of ripped and frayed shorts. I wear them with a simple t-shirt or blouse depending on if I want to dress them up a bit. I buy my denim shorts from American Eagle because they’re affordable and they fit great.
I’m not much of an accessories girl, but I do love sunglasses. I really love the rainbow/mirrored sunglasses trend that is going on right now, so I bought myself a pair of Cole Haan sunnies at TJ Maxx.
