OwlCrate Unboxing and First Impressions

Happy Sunday!

Reading is one of my favorite things to do whenever I have time. Over the past year I have been researching different book subscription boxes but I could never decide on which one to get. Finally, I decided that the only way to figure out which one was right for me was to just try them out. So that is exactly what I did and the first box that I ordered was OwlCrate

I decided to try OwlCrate first because it was the one that I kept seeing all over on Instagram and YouTube. The ordering process was easy and I was able to use a discount code that they had on their Instagram page. When I received my box in the mail I was super excited. I filmed an unboxing video so you can watch it below.

I only ordered one box because I want to try other ones as well. Out of everything in the box the only thing that I would purchase would be the Harry Potter mug. The book that was in the box is Wild Beauty by Anna – Marie Mclamore. The book has a beautiful cover and I am sure I will enjoy reading it. However, it is not the type of book I would buy if I was looking to buy new books. I’m careful with the books that I buy. I don’t buy a lot of books simply because I don’t have endless amounts of space or bookshelves to keep them in.

Would I buy another box? Maybe. The thing that stops me from subscribing to subscription boxes is that I know I will get things I might not use or things I wouldn’t normally buy. Subscription boxes are great to give as gifts and for people that like to try out products from smaller businesses. The theme for next month is Castles, Courts and Kingdoms. You can check out OwlCrate here.
