If you’re a bibliophile then you know how expensive having a reading habit really is. You can of course go to the library and check out books whenever you want with a library card. However, if you like to collect books and are looking for places to buy cheap books then keep on reading.
WHERE TO BUY CHEAP BOOKS
LIBRARY SALES
Library sales are my go-to for really affordable books. I got really lucky with my library; a lot of people donate new books for sale so that’s always great. Some libraries have used books for sale inside even when there isn’t a book sale going on so it’s always a good idea to check. I have purchased books for as little as .25 cents each.
HALF PRICED BOOKS
If you’re looking for a great variety of genres then Half Priced Books is a great one to check out. You can shop in store or online if you don’t have a location near you.
BOOK OUTLET
The Book Outlet is a great online shop where you can buy books at cheap prices. The website is really easy to navigate so it’s always a good one to visit.
BOOK DEPOSITORY
Book Depository is one of my all time favorite places to buy books. If you prefer the UK book covers to some of your favorite books rather than the US version then this is the site to shop. I’ve gotten some really great books from this site at amazing prices.
GOODWILL
I have found some Goodwill locations to have some really good books. Honestly, it depends on which one I go to. If you have time then consider looking for some books at a few of your local Goodwill locations.
DOLLAR TREE
One of the last places I ever expected to find good books was at the Dollar Tree. Don’t get me wrong I love the Dollar Tree for stickers and craft supplies but I was pleasantly surprised when I came across their book section. So if you’re ever near a Dollar Tree make sure you make some time to check out their books.
