Weekly Reading Wrap Up: A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas was definitely one of the best books I have read this year so far. I love all the books by Sarah J. Maas but the A court of Thorns and Roses series is by far my favorite.

A Court of Wings and Ruin starts off with Feyre back at Spring Court with Tamlin and Lucien. She is there trying to destroy his Court from within and also gather any information on Tamlin’s alliance with the King.

Spoilers Ahead

I was really interested in how Feyre would fit in back at Spring Court after everything that happened in A Court of Mist in Fury. I think that in this book you see how strong Feyre has become despite everything that happened to her in the first two books.

I am so glad that the whole book didn’t take place at Spring Court and that Feyre made her way back to Night Court. Instead we get to see more of all the other Courts and get to know more High Lords.

One of the things that I really like about Sarah J. Maas’s books is how different each book in the series are from each other. A Court of Wings and Ruin has battle and war scenes, alliances between the High Lords, romance, and a lot of suspense. I truly enjoyed reading all 699 pages of it and cannot wait for the next book.
