The YSL Touche Eclat All In One Glow has quickly become my go-to base this spring. Being the very picky person I am when it comes to makeup I was a little unsure if I was actually going to like this product. With it being more of a tinted moisturizer than a foundation I wasn’t sure if it was going to last all day. Another concern of mine was how dewy it was going to be. I didn’t want to look super shiny all day but I did want a nice added glow to my skin. After using it for a few months I finally feel ready to give you my review.
THE PACKAGING
I like the sleek design and how you can see how much product is in the tube. I like to squeeze the tube and shake it before using it to make sure all the product is mixed well. I also haven’t had any of the tinted moisturizer spill out when the lid isn’t on which I love. Since it’s in a plastic tube instead of glass I definitely think this is a travel friendly product.
THE PRODUCT
Surprisingly this product is very lightweight. This YSL tinted moisturizer has more of a foundation consistency than a thick moisturizer. I was expecting it to be a slightly thicker consistency like the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. Instead it’s similar to the Chanel VitaLumiere Aqua Foundation. The YSL Touche Eclat All In One Glow also has a slight scent to it. It’s a very subtle scent – almost undetectable – and I honestly don’t mind it. As far as coverage goes I definitely think this is light coverage. It’s also a very dewy and glowy tinted moisturizer. I’ve had really dehydrated skin this past winter and my skin has been loving this tinted moisturizer and it’s fresh glow.
After using it for months I can honestly say I will be repurchasing this product. It leaves such a beautiful glow to my skin and its long lasting. I usually wear makeup for up to 5 – 7 hours and I haven’t had a problem with it wearing off a lot. If you’re wondering if I set my makeup with powder the answer is only on my under eye area. I never set my whole face with powder. I also prefer to use this product during colder days. However, I have used it on warmer days and I haven’t had a problem with it falling off of my face; my face just ends up looking extra glowy.
