One of the best things to do on a cold cloudy fall day is sitting down and binge-watch a good spooky show. There are so many great supernatural shows out there that it was hard to decide what to include on this list. Below are some of the best shows to watch in the weeks leading up to Halloween.
SPOOKY SHOWS TO WATCH BEFORE HALLOWEEN
TRUE BLOOD
True Blood (ad) is a great show to start watching if you love vampires. This show has some mature content so it’s definitely not for a younger audience. If you like Vampire Diaries, and V Wars you might also enjoy True Blood. True Blood is a spooky vampire show without being cheesy.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY
If you want to watch something a little bit on the scary side then American Horror Story (ad) is for you. Every season is a different story. However, some of the same characters reappear as different characters. This is a show I don’t watch when I’m alone since its definitely on the spooky side. I would say this is a show for those that enjoy Penny Dreadful and the X-Files.
THE X-FILES
The X-Files is a classic. Who doesn’t love shows about the government secretly researching alien and supernatural phenomena?
FEAR THE WALKING DEAD
Zombie fans this is for you. Chances are that if you are a huge zombie show and movie watcher you have already watched Fear The Walking Dead (ad). However, if you haven’t given this show a shot definitely check it out.
SALEM
If you want more of a witchcraft supernatural show then check out Salem (ad). This show is inspired by the Salem witch trials and it’s definitely a spooky show to watch.
THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (ad) is a perfect show to watch during the fall season. It has all the spooky elements you could want in a show: magic, romance, great characters, the list goes on.
BITTEN
Are you looking for a binge-worthy show with werewolves? Bitten is a fantastic show to watch if you like supernatural shows that are not too scary.
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
You can’t go wrong with Buffy The Vampire Slayer. This show has vampires, witches, romance, great friendship dynamics; it’s incredible. If you have never watched an episode you have been missing out.
